Each of the Princeton Public Schools is supported by a robust Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). These parent-led non-profits generously support their schools through curriculum-based enrichment opportunities, material needs for students and staff, and community-building events.Â
The PTO Council (PTOC) serves as a liaison between the PTOs, the Superintendent and PPS leadership, and the Board of Education.
The council convenes monthly to discuss topics important to PPS families and to foster cooperation between the schools and the district leadership.

The PTOC also holds public events throughout the year to build community across the district and bring awareness to issues facing the schools. Past activities include:
Board of Education candidate forums during election season
District-wide fun-raisers at Princeton University athletic events and McCarter Theater performances to benefit the PTOs
Lunch and Learn webinars about community resources or PPS initiatives
District-wide food and clothing drives
